Our group comes to Sunny Side every single week at 6 AM, and we always have a fantastic experience. The owner is absolutely amazing and goes above and beyond to take care of everyone. At this point, he knows most of our orders before we even say them, which really shows the level of care and attention he gives to his customers. The atmosphere is always welcoming, the service is great, and the food is consistently excellent. It’s hard to find places anymore that make you feel this appreciated and taken care of, especially that early in the morning. We genuinely look forward to coming here every week, and I honestly can’t recommend this place enough. Great people, great food, and an all-around great experience every time. See you tomorrow morning!
My wife was looking for a local spot to eat while we were on a short roadtrip. We apparently chose a busy time to go, so there was a little wait. We sat at the "bar" counter ( not an alcohol bar). The venue was good but over the top. The food came fairly quickly and it did not disappoint! I enjoyed a Carlito's Burger Basket made at the waitress's recommendation. I didn't ask for it, but I did appreciate the jalapeños being put in a bowl on the side. Good experience, great food, friendly staff. We will go back next time we're in the area.
Sunny Side is a solid mostly comfort food restaurant with wonderful service and great prices. It's always busy and for good reason. I appreciate that there is a mixture of standard American food and some Mexican food. One of my favorites is Freddy's a name I can't spell or pronounce correctly. You'll know it when you see it. It's spicy and delicious.
